Quick guide – This is how you get started

1 Pick up the indoor garden Herb:ie from its package. Rinse the water tank and the plastic part (the growing medium) inside the tank with water.

2 Make sure that the pipe attached to the water pump (under the growing medium) is properly attached and make sure that the pump is adjusted to the minimum, so that the switch is at the right end.

3 Place the growing medium back. Fill the water tank to the MAX-level marked on the growing medium (approx. 2,1 litres). Note: the water level should be between the MAX and MIN. Let the pump run for a couple of minutes and pour the water away. This way you can make sure that the dust collected during the transport and storage will be removed. Remember that the plug needs to be dry before you plug it to the wall outlet. Note: The pump can be loud for the first 1-4 minutes, when all air inside the pump is removed.

4. Push the light attachment under the water tank so that it makes a clicking noise. Make sure that the pump wire runs through the hole in the growing medium and then through the hole where the light attachment is attached. Fill the tank as instructed in section 3

5. Attach the leg of the lamp and attach the fluorescent tube to the shade part of the light.

6. Store lettuce / herbs: Remove the plastic bag and rinse all extra soil off the plants. Keep the plants in pots and place the pot to the growth medium. Propagation mediums: Place the propagation medium on the growth medium. The stud of the growing medium keeps the propagation medium in its place.

7 Place Herb:ie to a location with an even temperature. Avoid draughty locations and direct sunlight.

8. Plug the lamp and the pump plugs to the outlet. Make sure that the plugs are dry before plugging them. If the water does not circulate on the top of the growth medium, make sure that the pump is well attached to the growing medium.

The terms of ordering and delivery

Ordering
You can shop at the store.tregren.com webstore if you are at least an 18-year old consumer living in Finland or in another European country. Ordering does not require registration.

Prices
The product price is the price in euros which is shown with the product information. The price includes VAT 24%. We reserve the right for price changes.

Payment methods
The products and their shipping fees are paid when ordered. You can pay with the following payment methods in the Internet bank: Visa, MasterCard and Visa Electron cards. Ordering and paying take place safely in a SSL-protected connection.

Delivery methods and shipping fees

Time of delivery
We deliver the products to you via DHL Express delivery securely and quickly. You will recieve the package in approx. 1-3 days after we have received your order. If the delivery of the product is delayed for some reason, we aim to inform you about it as soon as possible.

In July and around Christmas our time of delivery is 14 days.

Delivery to EU countries 9,5 Eur  for orders worth less than 50 Eur, to countiries outside EU 15 Eur for orders less than 50 Eur.
The delivery is shipped to you by DHL.

The right of return and change of products
All our products have a 14-day right of change and return according to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The product shall be unused and in the original sales package. Please always first contact our customer service at info@tregren.com before sending your order back to us.

We will return the price as stated in the Finnish Consumer Protection Act. The returns will be refunded to the credit card. When you change products, we will refund the value of the total sum of your order. We will return the extra money, if the amount of the return is greater than the amount of the new product(s) you have ordered. We will compensate the refunds at latest in 30 days after the return. Wrong or faulty product
If you received a wrong product or the product is faulty or damaged, contact our customer service immediately either by e-mail info@tregren.com or by phone to + 358 50 568 9770.

Cancelling an order
If you want to cancel your order and the delivery has not yet been shipped, you can cancel the order by contacting our customer service. If the delivery has already been shipped, you should act as described in the return instructions.
